Open Vision

One of the most exciting times on my journey with God was when He showed me an open vision. Prior to this encounter, I had visions where I was getting instruction from the Lord by a river. We would ride two white horses together to this river and would sit at the shores. The shores comprised of clear sand, and the skies above were clear. The location was stunning and peaceful.

 I met the Lord for a period as He gave me counsel. He gave me an assignment to read two books, The School of the Seers by Jonathan Welton, and The Seer by James Goll. He wanted to give me direction to grow in the supernatural and see into the spirit realm.


On April 19, 2013, I was reading The School of Seers, and I reached a chapter that talked about how God communicates  to seers. A seer receives information through visions, open visions, dreams and many other ways. For some reason at that time I was really interested in open visions. I did research on the meaning of open visions, and I found out God shows the open vision to a person as if it were happening right infront of the person. After reading about open visions I go to sleep with  a lot of intriguing knowledge about the supernatural.

The following morning, I wake up and I look at my ceiling, and I see interesting images. Then I remember the previous night I was reading about open visions, and I believe right there and then I saw an open vision. It was an image of a book (the word of God) and an ear.

 I place my tablet on my bed and I go to the bathroom. I come back and to my amazement, I find the tablet in a suitable position to capture the open vision. I take the picture. (See figure 1)

The image of the Bible (left) is still and I notice the one of the ear (right) flickers frequently.  I realize God is relaying an important message. At that time I was searching for more of God and His wisdom. My ears were tuned to hearing the Father's instructions and I was enlightened.

I shared the picture with my close friends and this verse came to light as we discussed the vision
       
    Proverbs 2:1-5

    My son, if you accept my words
    and store up my commands within you,turning your ear to wisdom
    and applying your heart to understanding—indeed, if you call out for insight
    and cry aloud for understanding,and if you look for it as for silver
    and search for it as for hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the LORD
    and find the knowledge of God.

At this point in my amazing adventure with God, He was inviting me to continue reading His word and listening to His instructions. God speaks to us in various ways; dreams, visions, through people, the word, the inner and audible voice etc. He speaks to us according to our personality and the way He sees us. 

The key is to have a relationship with Him individually and cultivate this relationship. As you do this you will learn more about God's identity and in turn you will learn more of your identity, after all we are created in His image. Furthermore, you will learn how He communicates to you. Having a personal relationship with God is so much fun and fulfilling.

Position yourself to hear from God everyday, as you find rest in His presence. Let Him put a blanket of peace on you as you sleep and wake. It is a new day everyday, the Lord's day, which is full of divine purpose and order.

Beautiful Tapestry

As I mentioned before, God filled my eyes with His light, and is showing me the marvelous unseen realm. The veil of the unseen realm was removed by our Father as I sought Him. When we seek the Father and build a personal relationship with Him, the supernatural becomes very relevant in your life.

On October 10, 2013, our Father showed me something magnificent. I was lying on my back and I closed my eyes. I lost conscious. Then I see myself on a stage with a child. We are presenting artwork to an audience. The child is my partner in the project.

Beautiful Tapestry

We get ready to unveil the art work. The child exudes excitement and confidence in anticipation of what is about to happen. I am nervous because I think the art work is not good enough, but the child believes otherwise. Talk about child like faith, we can all learn from God's little angels. As we bring out the work, it supernaturally floats to the back of us. Then my  eyes zoom in like a camera lens and I see the screen (canvas). On the screen are disorganized spots and patterns. I say to myself, "This is going to be a disaster."

As my eyes focus on the muddled piece, supernaturally I see the spots and patterns coming together making a beautiful work of art, I say to myself, "This is supernatural!" God turns the work into an astonishing masterpiece before my eyes. I was literally watching this unfold and I was in awe.

The audience are wowed, as God intervenes and makes the art work splendid. All of a sudden I gain conscious and I am in complete amazement. It all happened in a blink of an eye. I closed my eyes and experienced this mesmerizing encounter. Then I open  my eyes, notice it is morning and I felt I was taken to a "room of wonder" in heaven.

Still lying on my back, I steady myself to be quiet and hear from God with a goal to get wisdom and understanding. When we are at rest and quiet we hear from our Creator. God always shows us something for a reason.. First of all, I notice the spots and patterns on the canvas looked like the residue that settled at the top right corner (interior vision) of my left eye after my numerous surgeries. The residue came when doctors put gas and a bubble in my eye as they reattached my retina. The gas and bubble were removed later as my eye recovered and some residue remained.

God was showing me that all the negative situations that came as a result of the surgeries to my eyes, He is turning them around and making them beautiful. He is putting my life together and making it magnificent. What seemed like a time of  confusion during the period of surgeries, He is bringing justice and making all things good in my life.

My Heavenly Father is bringing divine order and purpose to my life. His word says, "He makes everything beautiful in time." Everyday I have a smile on my face because  of the peace of God that rests in me and the beauty He brings to my life.

In addition, God reveals to me the name of this beautiful art work. I hear his soft peaceful voice, "Tapestry," I get excited and I search the word on the internet. I see a variety of these gorgeous art prints. One in particular stands out and looks like the art piece that was supernaturally created by God on the canvas during my encounter (see Figure 1)

When we pursue our Creator our destiny becomes clear. We are fulfilled and when things in life may seem disorganized and challenging, He reaches out His precious hands to us and divinely puts things in order, making our life beautiful just like the "Beautiful Tapestry".

More Revelation:

The child represents the child-like faith children of God should walk in. Faith brings about supernatural breakthroughs.

My Light is in Your Eyes

This year has been an incredible journey discovering the real essence of our Father, God. I thought I knew the Father but really my heart was not connected to Him. My perspective of the Father has completely changed, and it began with a journey to pursue Him for myself. I believe we all need to know Him for ourselves and establish a personal relationship with Him.

Our Creator is a wonderful friend who wants to know everything about His children. He wants to be the center of our lives. He wants to have a laugh with us and embrace us when we need a touch of love during challenges. He wants to put a blanket over us when we sleep, and watch over us through the night. He wants to sing love songs to us because He loves us dearly. He wrote a love letter to mankind in His Word to draw us near to Him.

 When we draw near to our Father he starts revealing our destiny and purpose. With this incredible walk with the Father, I have learned a lot about myself and the gifts He has freely put in me. After the November 2012, Encounter, I experienced another awesome encounter with the Father.

The encounter was another clear audible voice. It was the first week of March 2012, I was fast asleep then I suddenly heard a voice which startled me for a moment, I heard the Father say, "My Light is in your eyes." I was still getting used to such supernatural experiences and this time the voice was louder. After this moment of surprise, I collected myself together, remained still and quiet to hear more from the Creator.
   
Then the Spirit of God said to me in a soft, tender voice, "I am crying out for My lost sheep." Immediately after hearing this, tears started flowing down my eyes. I could feel the Father's love and peace. I also realized the love He has for His children (all humankind) is immeasurable and unconditional.

Our Father cares for each one of us on this planet and wants us to connect with Him. He longs to commune with each one of us in an intimate relationship and to guide us in our preordained destiny. Furthermore, the Spirit of God told me, "The Harvest is ready."








Our Father is looking for people who are willing to carry His love to the lost and brokenhearted to bring peace so that all can return to Him and receive His warm embrace.

After this supernatural encounter my eyes were opened and I started seeing more into the unseen realm, which I will be sharing in future articles.

In quietness and stillness we hear the Father's voice. One of the precursors to know the presence of the Father is a feeling of peace. When I had this supernatural experience there was peace and it was only my own reaction of surprise that evoked a slight moment of tension. The Word of the Father says in Psalms 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God..." When we are at peace and rest we hear from the Father clearly. Distractions of life distort our connection with our Creator. In addition, in the state of quietness when we Hear the voice of God we are strengthened. Isaiah 30:15 says, "...In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."

Whenever God communes with us, He leaves us with something. He leaves us with what we need for the season. It could be love, wisdom and understanding or an impartation of power to carry out miracles, signs and wonders that bring hope. One thing I am certain in His presence there is love and peace. Reach out to our Father and let Him direct your steps in life in order to experience heaven on earth.
